The XT Shorty is very easy to install and does not get in the way of lacing or unlacing skates. There is a hinge point near the top of the ShotBlocker that will flex forward just as the tongue does, providing a completely natural and unhindered stride. The ShotBlocker XT Shorty is constructed of a high-impact, engineered resin which has been over-molded with an energy-absorbing thermal polymer for elite level protection. The underbelly of the ShotBlocker features a grippy finish to help prevent the blockers from moving around during the game.
